The Fraternal Virtues

The Fraternal Virtues
Gnosis – Know Thyself
Thelema – Live thy Will
Agape – Love the Divinity within your Brethren

*      To thine own self be true.
*      Be disciplined in mind, body and spirit.  Keep your thoughts concentrated on the grace of the Divine.  Keep your body strong and resilient and your spirit enlivened and radiant.
*      May your lips forever be honest and true.  Vow sparingly but when you do, adhere to it as iron.
*      Find the Earth in every moment.  Love and protect it until we are no longer bound to it and may fly into the expanse of Aquarian light.
*      Give respect to the respectful and contempt for the contemptible.
*      Embrace mortal humility and avoid counterproductive pride.  The ego is a heavy weight that the Eagle is not willing to carry into the Heavens.
*      Never demean a brother of the Fraternity or any other who bears potential acceptance into the Fraternity.  Instead, be you an example of Aquarian light and stature, inviting all into the loving embrace of HIM.
*      Seek out and encourage the individual beauty of all things.
*      Dignity, composure, graciousness and humor are admirable qualities.
*      Power grows in direct proportion to wisdom.
*      Mountains may crumble and stars may fall, but courage, honor and valiance remain forever.  Persevere in the path of adversityh and have faith in yourself, the power bestowed upon you and in your Aquarian brothers.
*      Pledge kinship with those who are worthy and refrain from wasting energy on fools.  Strengthen those of the Fraternity and the Fraternity will strengthen you.  Exude fidelity to your kith, your lovers, the Fraternity and to the Lord.
*      Obey the laws of the land so long as you find them to be within reason.
*      Embrace doubt, questin everything and accept nothing unless it be to your satisfaction.
*      Be industrious and create for yourself and those your love.  Be self-sufficient and honor yourself as a provider.
*      Show hospitality and kindness to those who enter your home and be generous to guests.
*      Carry zeal in your heart like and ancient treasure.  Be proud of you and your Fraternal bond.
*      Keep silent about your practice and cherish mystery of your faith except from those who may peace within fraternal bond.

This path shall be your vessel, your ship that carries your soul into the depths of the wine chalice of Ganymede, through the lights of the Cupbearer.  Treasure this spiritual voyage for without the ship, one may find oneself lost at seas.
